Call Day #45, 3/10/11

Call day came a day early this time, with a Q3 spacing since Erik switched rotations. Since it's Thursday again, we were once again at school playgroup.

Eleanor paints. The title of the finished work was "A tiger at the zoo in a cage."

Claire checks out the animals.

Such a different puzzle! Match the pieces (centers, petals, and leaves) to the cards to make flowers.

She looks so grown up!

See-sawing away.

We went to Costco after playgroup. A few things about this picture: 1) I feel like this site often only shows the rosy side of our days so here's some reality. This was how Claire was most of the day today. (I'm sure she would've felt much better if she'd chosen to sleep during naptime). 2) Claire is wearing the belt in the cart because she really does need it. I turned away for a second and she was holding on to the red handle with both feet on the seat. Didn't know she could do that! Lesson learned.

Package from Grandma and Grandpa!

Grandma sent a present for Tigger, which Eleanor thought was great. They open it together.

Tigger in his new pajamas. (Explanation: Many times we've found Eleanor in her bed in just a diaper. When we ask why she's taken off her pajamas she's told us that "Tigger was cold so I let him wear them.") Good solution, Mom!

Claire standing without holding on to anything!

She's been making this crinkled nose face a lot lately and I love it.

Loving spaghetti, first introduced last night. But, oh, the mess.

My "cutie" eating her SweetTart hearts from Grandma as her potty reward of the day.
