After bed bug treatment #2 on Friday and a weekend in Connecticut with our friends Clif and Corrin, it was time to put the house back together again. It's hard to spot the kids eating breakfast over all the things that were moved into the kitchen to allow the exterminator to work.
Eleanor checks out the latest Lakeshore Learning catalog--so many fun things!
Claire on her third clementine/tangerine. This, after eating two kinds of cereal. It was just a hungry day, I guess. Nice that she can peel her own fruit.
After decluttering the kitchen, there was room for a puzzle. Claire likes to join in by getting a few pieces and going off by herself to try to put them together. Today Eleanor tolerated that pretty well.
The aftermath of teaching the meaning of Christmas? Two girls playing Mary (complete with dishtowel head coverings) holding baby Jesus (inserts for cloth diapers).
Claire puts (the upgraded) baby Jesus into a manger.
Pre-dinner bathtime. Eleanor enjoys the dress up dolls bath toy from Christmas.
Claire happily makes a salad for Mommy. Sanctioned tearing of something!
