Call Day #43, 3/3/11

Thursday is school playgroup day. We hadn't been in SO long due to school closings, not being able to walk there over snowy sidewalks when it was open, our trip, school vacation week, etc. Eleanor enjoyed these sponges for painting.

Snack time. I love that Claire sits in her own little chair!

I think they call this the sensory table (aka Eleanor plays in a lot of macaroni).

We stopped at Shannon and Lila's on the way home. Claire chose the stethoscope out of the whole bin of toys. She also knew exactly how to wear it.

Claire just started riding in this stroller sitting up (not in her bucket seat) yesterday.

It was cold so she was bundled. Quick story: When I walked around to the front of the stroller at school to get her out, the hat was completely down over her face! I have no idea how long it had been like that but she didn't protest and was definitely too bundled to do anything about it. (And I thought those elementary school kids were just looking at my kids because they thought they were cute...)

Playing "Go to Costco." Had to wear her new dress from Aunt Linda for this!
Claire kept trying to put sunglasses on herself--they always ended up on her neck.

See the food on the arm?

Eleanor decided it was okay to let go of her big box (which we've had since last summer). It was falling apart. We took pictures, she hugged it goodbye, and then we finished taking it apart.

Claire now gets into not one, but two drawers in the kitchen.

Result: She knows how to wear oven mitts.

  1. Thank you for your sweet voicemail message. I'll call you soon. I promise. We are in MS at a wedding, so maybe Tuesday or Wed.
