Call Day #121, 9/27/12

Since Daddy didn't have to go to work until mid-day, we spent the morning at the park.  He tried to teach Eleanor how to move her legs to help herself swing.

Snack time.  Love the crossed ankles.

Eleanor tried out new climbing structures.  She was really good at it.

 Rock climbing.

Claire rocking on a bouncy dragon.

 Eleanor and Daddy bouncing together.

Daddy is the BEST spinner!
Eleanor at the top of the slide (as taken by Erik lying on the ground).

Sister sliding.

Claire tries to run and jump in a swing the way Eleanor does, but doesn't get too much momentum.

After nap, we did a little experiment.  Our book of the week is about ducks so we talked about how their feathers stay dry because they are oil-coated.  Eleanor wasn't so sure about dipping her fingers in oil at first.

Getting to use the spray bottle!  Comparing the oil-coated and non-coated feathers.

We tried comparing paper bags to watch the water bead up and soak in on them too.

And since she was enjoying the water bottle, why not let her help out?!  Cleaning spots off the kitchen floor.

Working on a puzzle.  (Nanny, note the tree pose!).
